I have worked across a wide range of imaging areas for several decades. During that period I have been amongst some of the major shifts, both technical and cultural, within Photography. This is a discipline that has expanded and progressed well beyond the early activity. At present I work as an exhibiting artist. This site explores a fuller understanding of the image, I have moved across a variety of areas of activity – documentary image capture, historical investigations and images for fine art exhibitions: this is critically a quite wide, divergent field in itself. Digital imaging has moved seamlessly into the deep, individual areas of fine art. Important to note that the clear foundations remain: this is simply a technique, not an artist’s intense, innovative sensibility.
This site will continue to present new work, and pursue the above issues. Of course the digital has engulfed so many other areas.
